Teri Justjoo

It was during my courtship days when I  had first heard this song "Teri Justjoo" on youtube and ended up dedicating it to my then Fiance and now my lovely husband Abhishek. I was bit hesitant telling him about my feelings so took the help of this song, which perfectly worked for me. Abhishek being a true music lover loved it to bits. When you are in love and feel shy expressing your emotions then surprise your beloved with a lovely song and show him how much care for him and what he means to you. Believe me it doesn’t sound filmy at all.

“Teri Justjoo” is a spellbinding classical number sung by the famous singer Roop Kumar Rathore. His mesmerising voice and the romantic lyrics of the song evoke the hidden emotions which are the melange of love, pain and happiness. “Teri Justjoo” was included in one of the Sufi Hits Album, which was released by Sony BMG in 2008. The album comprises of 14 of today's biggest Sufi hits from contemporary artists Kailash Kher, Shafqat Amanat Ali to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Roop Kumar Rathod.

Unlike other songs, the video for “Teri Justjoo” was not played on the television channels. The song topped the music charts on Radio channels and became a massive hit amongst music connoisseurs. Roop Kumar Rathore was pretty confident about “Teri Justjoo” and seriously felt that it didn’t require any video to be liked by listeners. This unique attempt to make a song popular without a video was truly challenging and interesting and it fruited more than the desired results and made the song one of the biggest hits of the year 2008.

“Teri Justjoo” is a pure Sufi song and it talks about longing for love and the supreme power. The beautiful words depict the love in the purest form and describes the varied facets of love from prayer to happiness to heart' wish to life. “Teri Justjoo” was also included in the music album of the movie “Shor in the city".

The amorous music of “Teri Justjoo” was composed by Harpreet Singh, who is the son of renowned Hindi film music director, Kuldeep Singh. The budding singer Kshitij Tarey did the backing vocals and added impeccable finesse to the song. He also showcased his strong vocal skills in the song “Tose Naina” from Anwar) and “Dhol Yara Dhol” from Dev D.

So if you are longing for some Sufi music fan then make sure to listen to this melodious romantic number, which will definitely overpower your heart and soul and draw you in to the world of love and passion.

Teri Justjoo
Teri Justjoo

Saaware Saaware Saaware..
Saaware Saaware Saaware..
Tere bin sooni sooni hain ankhiyaan
Tere bin lamha lamha hain sadiyaan
Soona soona jahaan laage re..
Saaware Saaware Saaware..
Saaware Saaware Saaware..

Teri justjoo
Teri justjoo

Tu mere dil ki dua
Tu hi meri har khushi..
Shaamil hai tu rooh mein.. (rooh mein)
Tu hi meri zindagi..
Teri yaadon ka saawan hai
Pyaasi pyaasi yeh dhadkan hai
Bas tu nazar aaye re..

Saaware Saaware Saaware..
Saaware Saaware Saaware..

Saiyyaaron se raat bhar
Karte hain hum guftugu (teri justjoo..)
Armaanon ki bheed mein (bhee..d mein)
Teri hi hai justjoo
Sooni sooni si hasrat hai
kaisi meri mahabbat hai
kuch na mujhe aaye re.. (Aa..)

Saaware Saaware Saaware..
Saaware Saaware Saaware..

Tere bin sooni sooni hain ankhiyaan
Tere bin lamha lamha hain sadiyaan
Soona soona jahaan laage re.. (Sapamarigamanesa)

Saaware saanware saanware..
Saaware saanware saanware..
